Remembrance Day 2016

All the children in school made a poppy for remembrance day.  Each poppy had a special message on the lolly stick, a word or words to describe the bravery of all the men and women.  The poppies were planted in the ground by the war memorial in Greenhead by the children.  A two minutes silence was taken followed by prayers and 'Flanders field' was read by year 4 children.
